Currently recruiting for a passionate Sous Chef to join an expanding new team.
Once upon a time is a bespoke events company from Chef Tom Sellers and works with some of the best brands in all industries both in the UK and Globally.
The Role,
• To deliver each event to the highest standard possible and delegate tasks
• To work alongside the Head Chef on menu ideas, execution of menu and recipes
• Motivate and train the wider chef team
• Oversee safe working practices, H&S and food hygiene both on site and in pre production kitchens
• Cooking and preparing dishes in advance of each event
• Assisting with determining food inventory requirements, stock control and ordering
• To travel with the company on each event, oversea and assist the chefs
• R&D of new concepts and help towards design of new spaces
• Represent the company and brand professionally and promote this approach within the team.
• Cross training available at our 2 Michelin star, restaurant Story
Experience working within an awarded restaurant for a minimum of 3 years is preferred.
Predominantly London Based events.
Driving license is essential.
Annual salary of up to £40k based on experience.
