We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our passionate team at The Five Fields Restaurant.

Located in the heart of Chelsea, The Five Fields is a multi-ward winning intimate Michelin Star restaurant serving a tasting menu featuring produce which comes from our own kitchen garden.  Our food is hyper-seasonal with a concentration on the best of British fish, meat and game; with very modern plating in an elegant and intimate dining room.

We are renowned for our unparalleled warm, knowledgeable and personable service and we are expanding our team to hire a new position of Chef de Rang/Waiter.

Part-time hours Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 2pm – perfectly suited to a parent with school age children.

What are we expecting from you?

As a receptionist you are the first point of contact in our guests’ experience, so the ability to communicate is absolutely paramount.  A very strong command of both written and spoken English is vital, with a second language an added bonus.

Experience with OpenTable is preferred, though training can also be provided.

You will liaise with our Head Chef and Management team to communicate any special requirements for each guest (dietary requirements, special celebrations and requests)

Responsibility for confirming reservations via telephone, email and direct messaging.

Daily, bespoke menus printing for each guest so an attention to detail is of the utmost importance as is the ability to work unsupervised.

This position is also responsible for managing the office, stationery and supplies. 

Previous fine-dining restaurant experience is preferred, but not essential.  The most important qualification is a dedication to being part of creating an unparalleled guest experience.
