| Nestled in the heart of Lalande Pomerol, Châteaux Chambrun and Moncets have experienced a remarkable renaissance since their acquisition by a dynamic family in 2012 and 2015. Under the leadership of managing director Julien Noël, who joined in 2016, these estates have embraced contemporary, terroir-driven winemaking with a focus on organic farming practices.Château Moncets, the oldest site dating back to the late 18th century, has undergone significant renovation and now produces fresh, fruity Merlot and Cabernet Franc from its 19 hectares of vineyard. The terroir of Moncets is marked by an incredible abundance of microclimates, allowing for thorough intra-plot selection.Château de Chambrun, with origins dating to the interwar period, is the flagship vineyard of the estate. Its 13.80 hectares of Merlot are entirely selection Massale, ensuring high-quality production.
