Will report the Head Sommelier directly and work alongside the restaurant management team over eight shifts a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Sommelier in managing the whole beverage team to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Support the Head Sommelier in maintaining and improving the restaurants extensive wine selection ensuring the highest quality of selected wines according to market availability and best value considerations.
- Recommend and match wines for our Guest to complement their menu selection.
- Assisting the Head Sommelier in reviewing and coordinating the selection and purchasing of the beverage stock excluding wine
- Develop and motivate our team of sommeliers to become experts in this specialist arena.
- Provide an enchanting and memorable gastronomy experience.
- Working with the team to develop new cocktails.
- Helping build the wider FOH teams Knowledge.
- Working off site Events and where needed leading teams at those events to deliver are high standards.
