Join us for an exclusive trade evening dedicated to the AOP Picpoul de Pinet, where bright aromatic freshness meets ageing finesse. A journey through time, terroirs and textures, guided by winemakers and sommeliers.
Event Highlights:
5.00 – 6.00pm: Meet the Makers
An informal tasting of Picpoul de Pinet wines led by winemakers who will present both market-distributed and undistributed wines
6.00 – 7.00pm: Masterclass – The Art of Ageing Piquepoul
A vertical tasting of 5 vintages from 2 leading estates, exploring the ageing potential of the unique Piquepoul grape variety from Picpoul de Pinet. Hosted by sommelier Alexandre Fréguin, Languedoc wine expert.
7.00 – 8.00pm: Somm’ Battle
Sommelier duos face off to create the ultimate food and Picpoul de Pinet pairings. Live and judged by a professional panel.
8.00 – 9.00pm: Final Pour & Networking
Winner announcement, more wines to taste, and informal discussions with producers and fellow trade professionals.
