This outpost of Europe, lying close to the eastern shore of the Mediterranean, offers a glimpse into one of the world’s oldest wine cultures with a venerable history tracing its roots over 6,000 years.
Centuries of triumph and hardship have each shaped the island’s viticultural and oenological character. Moreover, in recent years its wine producers have reawakened a very old story; long in the telling.
This tale-forged by an extreme climate, the highest altitude vineyards in Europe, and ancient native varieties-has given rise to a
reinvigorated wine culture producing wines of great personality and
authenticity: a true renaissance.
All that remains is for you to taste and enjoy them!
